We’re looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to manage casework from start to finish, support attorneys in litigation, and serve as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of Workers’ Compensation and Civil Litigation cases
- Maintain organized case files and documentation
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- File legal documents accurately and on time
- Communicate with clients and witnesses to gather information and provide updates
- Prepare discovery materials and assist in trial preparation
- Evaluate settlement offers and support negotiations
- Mentor junior staff and oversee administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and stay current on legal developments
- Recommend process improvements and pursue ongoing legal education
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant paralegal experience
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
- Proficient in legal software and case management tools
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage client relationships
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree required
